Storytime!!!

 STORYTIME!!!

Stories have always attracted me and also kept me in a mode to imagine it real life. We have read basics such as- Harry Potter, Percy Jackson series, or Wimpy Kid or many single collaborations. But here I am with my own creation of story...

So, here I am with my new post on the story I wrote recently for an Open Baroda competition. Actually, Baroda is my hometown and I had participated in Alfaaz that was a competition organized by Rotaract Club Of Baroda. It had 3 categories- Storytelling, Shayari, and poetry. And I was one of the finalists in the storytelling category. So, hereby I present to you all the story I wrote and surely tell me your views on it and I hope you would enjoy it to your fullest.

Life is like a twist and turns of ideas, events, and new expenditures. Life always gives a time full of happiness and joy where you don't need to notice your disabilities. But, in my character's story, it has an emotion of self-reliance, struggle, losing your loved ones, and even the happiest of the memories.
"This all started on 12th of May 2020, the whole world was suffering from corona and that evening I was born a hustle made in the hospital but with people not coming close to me, I tried to find my mother she slept beside me the nurse hurrying to my father happily announcing " It was a girl!!". My first day of life announced my news in the newspaper that I was the sibling of a corona positive mother. After many days I was kept with my grandparents, my father with social help, and my mom in the mighty hands of God. I never realized how it would be with a whole family. My father was always stressed and why shouldn't he as he was a doctor saving lives of hundreds of people every day and surrendering his life with every new patient. During this time the whole world was waiting for a new demigod, a god who could save millions of lives with just one vaccine. Every person at that time was like a human bomb if it came to you you were the next person to be in the almighty's hands.
Time just went on as salt in lentil soup, my family with a new stepmom loving and caring so that I couldn't miss my mother. My grandparents and their family shifted and I was all alone with my parents. My father was a retired doctor now and also expected me that I would be the next one of their generation.

When I was a child I used to also have human teachers who gave us love and affection as small children and they were very caring. But now we had virtual teachers teaching as a bullet metro, and even giving us homework so much that we had to stay awake whole night. We had a digital floor. It is like a maze and it gets new design whenever you need it even scans your legs and if it has dirt it will automatically clean without informing anyone!! And yes it does not need to clean if it has any dirt it would clean by itself and get collected in e-dustbin. We even now had phones that could read our minds and would suggest to us the coming practices we could adopt in the future. We now had robots as housemaids and even as servants.
I truly tell that the technology changed everyone's lives we had no physical work to do we could play virtual cricket, basketball, volleyball at home, and yes all this without an actual ball. The whole world first was ruled by dinosaurs then by humans and now by the virtual kingdom. We all are its subjects.
And now came this probably fourth pandemic in this world and this time it was not a disease but it was a serious outbreak and that too was of the digitalization and the craving for futuristic tools that had made humans blind. People now are stressed, walking with mobiles, no friends and there were only the VR was their actual friend. People now overweighted and people tucked on with reading glasses. Ok now my VR is calling me for my classes!!"
If you all are now aware of my character's future world that is of only VR, let me inform you the character in this book is dying at the end of the book in WORLD WAR 3... This the world war was occurring due to the maleficent world of phones as people are going on through such a stage with their gadgets that they are going stressed and ending up this stress in a war that must be the end of humanity...
So, I hope you enjoyed this story and I hope we would soon meet on my next post till then...
