Walk down the aisle~

Hello everyone! It's been a long time since my last blog, I hope that you all had a great time through this year and discovered more about yourself. Here's my last blog for this year for those endless memories of our lives.

It was just yesterday, the first time we met, those endless chats, those little giggles, the pranks we played, the songs we heard and danced on, those endless moments flash through my eyes when I just had my first sip of coffee we thought was the most bitter ones but which actually was sweet by the moments we shared with it.

Exchanging those friendship bands, bad-mouthing those people, learning to lie about things, crying when we lost each other, meeting on a day where the weather was fine. Were those days even worth it when I wasn’t with you?

The era where we just saw each other through that screen, having nostalgia of that madness we had together, listening and talking about our favorite people, introducing each other to those we never knew.

The time went like it was just yesterday when we passed through those doors and entered another world without each other.

When this year ends I just remember those moments we had and walk down the aisle, thinking that we will meet again, make new memories, share new stories and be a better person than we were before. This ain’t the last day of the year, it's just a new way of having a fresh start in this bitter-sweet world where we can walk down together.

I want to end this blog with a verse from the song 'MAGIC SHOP' from BTS-

“I do believe your galaxy.
I want to listen to your melody.
The stars in your Milky Way,
How will they appear in your sky?
Don’t forget that I found you anyways.
At the end of my despair.
You’re the last reason.
For me who was standing at the edge of the cliff.
Live.”

Serendipity

Hello everyone! Previously I wrote a story in my blog titled 'Storytime', this time I am here with my second story based on dreams and superheroes.

The first half of the story revolves around a 10-year-old girl, Nara. A day at school is portrayed where she finally realizes her dream. The second half is about her teenage and when realizes life doesn't go our way. The plot changes when we see her as an adult doing a job she never thought of but which changed her life.

SERENDIPITY

1) Plot 1-

“Nara, get up already, finish your breakfast”

“Are you still not gonna get up?”

“Mom, he is gonna do the high kick though”

“If you are not getting up from that place, you will gonna have a high kick from me”

“Stop shouting, I can’t even concentrate on my newspaper these mornings”

“DAD!, where are my boots?”

“I told u yesterday Nara sleep before packing up everything for the morning”

At a distance the bus honks

“Mom!, Dad! I’m getting late bye”

The door slammed and the bus rushes with the little 10-year kiddo.

School bell rings

“Good morning ma’am”

“Good morning everyone, remember I told you’ll to write an essay on your future and what you want to become when you get older?”

“Yes ma’am!!!” a loud response made Ms. Guo happy.

“So, let's start”

“Who’s gonna start with their essay”

The enthusiastic crowd filled the room with giggles and loud answers.

“Ok, let's start with Nara this time”

“Y-Y-Yes ma’am”

“Are you ready?”

“N-No, Yes ma’am”

“So come over”

“Hi everyone! I am Nara, ever since my brother introduced me to the euphoric world of heroes, I decided what I wanted to become….”

A silent class filled with questions gazed at her, thinking what was she going to answer.

“I thought of becoming a hero… a-a real-life hero”

The class burst out in laughter.

“Silence everyone, cooperate with your classmate”

“I-I want to save people who are living a miserable life, I want to fight the villains and I want everyone to lead a life where they are happy just by thinking of me that I will save them. Thank you!”

“That was great Nara, but can I ask you something?”

“Sure ma’am”

“Have you seen a real-life hero?”

“Y-Yes I see him every day”

“Can I know who is he?”

“My dad, whenever I think of something he buys me that, whenever I am crying he is by my side, just his thought makes me feel assured”

“Well that was a well choice of answer Nara”

The school bell rang and everyone rushed towards the playground for the next period.

A day at school finally ended. Nara was so keen to tell about her dreams and how her day went by to her parents. Thinking and arranging all thoughts while others were playing on the bus.

The house doorbell rang.

“Hey, mom! How are you? What did you make for lunch? I am so hungry right now, today so many things happened at school, but do you know what-“

“Wait, first wash up, then you can brag all about it”

“Ok mom”

Nara rushed towards the washroom as soon it was time for her favorite cartoon.

“I want to get older soon, and see more things”

Time passed by, some days filled with enthusiasm, some filled with anger and she reached her teenage just like that.

2) Plot 2-

“Mom, dad, get up already, I am done making the food, let's eat, fast”

“Nara, wait a minute the match is gonna end soon”

“They are not going to win, it’s a fixing”

An announcement popped up from the television, “And they won, what a defeat”

“I rooted for you people just so we can see you lose”

Everyone hurried towards the dining table, as the smell of curry filled the room with aroma.

“You are all grown up”

“Stop saying that mom”

“I am so angry, how can we lose such a game?”

“Can you stop talking about it on the table at least”

“Dad, did they come to feed you for rooting over them? No right, why do you mind them, they gave their best today, eat instead.”

“When you were young did the superheroes feed you for seeing them?”

“Mom that was a mere cartoon, that doesn’t exist in real life”

“Indeed you understood it now”

Years passed by and Nara grew up as an adult. She wasn’t a superhero but she became a person who gave superheroes to children. A novelist and a book writer. The government was felicitating her for her wonderful work this day.

A crowd with profound writers attended the great ceremony. The ceremony started.

"And the award for the best writer goes to Ms. Nara"

“She is a rookie writer who earned fame and honor on different platforms.”

“Hello everyone, this is Nara, I debuted with my work last year, and children and also people of different age groups loved my work and here I am with their love and support”

“You are indeed a gifted writer, now a lot of people asked me this question and wanted me to convey you”

“O-Ok sure”

“What was your inspiration about heroes and what was your first dream of becoming in real life?”

“This is a question that is quite nostalgic, my childhood was quite fun, my parents were joyful and were lenient about quite a lot of stuff. My first dream job or work was becoming a superhero, bringing a smile to people in despair and bringing relief to all the people so that they can sleep assured that I’m for their rescue, but when we face the reality, we forget our dreams, we forget all we think of. My inspiration was my parents who always brought a smile to my face, helped me through all the times, and made me feel assured about everything. I don’t want to make this a little emotional but dream, you can dream but next time think, will it be applicable in real life?

For me, where I am, I think I am a superwoman, I can bring smiles to my readers' faces, I am not being a narcissist but they feel assured that a character I created is there saving their lives, I am a hero in someone’s life at least.”

“Well, it was such a fine saying thanks Ms.”

In the end, always be happy that someone is happy for you existing and you are a hero in your own life.

Thanks for reading today’s blog!

THE TWO WORLDS

The Two Worlds we live in

Hello everyone! It's been a long while since I wrote my last blog, so here I am with my new blog. First of all Happy Friendship day and thanks for all the years of support. So, this time my blog is about the different worlds we live in and the effect it has on our lives. The previous two blogs are series and this one is following the same topic.

I got into the "Hallyu Wave" last year and many others also got into this beautiful world. For the ones who don't know what this wave is all about, it is like ' A word that describes the global popularity of South Korea's pop culture and entertainment industry '. It is a Chinese word meaning Korean wave. The dramas and culture got me involved in social issues and taught me different new things we can't find around us.

With the pandemic that approached us, we distanced from our workplaces and schools, and friends but we came nearer to the world and found new ways to greet ourselves. Right now we are having different personalities, one we show to the outside world and one we are portraying to the digital world. The matches we used to enjoy in stadiums are available to us in different ways at home. The concerts we attended are held online too. The losses through all this are affecting the wage workers, students, businessmen, and people all over the world.

The freedom we use to experience before is lost, we are living our lives in fear. The harassment cases got hype, the businesses had a shutdown, the freedom of students confined them to the four walls and life saw a new revolution.

The people right now are visiting most of the places they can see in hope that they can see all their dream destinations. The hypothetical third wave has put us in a tough situation of the consequences if it ever occurs.

The only way we have to survive is faith and happiness. So open ur windows start ur mobiles or laptops and binge-watch all your favorite shows and enjoy to the fullest. And let's meet in my next blog!

AN ERA WITHOUT TECHNOLOGY

A WORLD WITHOUT TECHNOLOGY IN A PANDEMIC

Hello everyone! After a long time, I am writing a blog. Have you ever thought of the scenario when we would have Covid 19, but no internet with it. Would we have communicated with our family members through letters or telephones?

Online classes, news channels, social media, work from home, no media source except newspapers, and a world full of chaos.

You suddenly wake up one day and see everything's alright around you, birds chirping, a pleasant day is approaching you, and read about a virus outbreak but pay no attention to it. You reach your office and see your colleague is coughing and is unwell. You treat it like a normal cold and pass by. In the next few days, you are suffering through the same symptoms but in a more severe form. You reach out to your family doctor and come to know that you are suffering from the Covid'19 virus, a virus you never knew of and you are from the millions of other people suffering from it.

As the world is still in an era of working with telephones as a technological advancement you don't know how to attend school in a pandemic, how to attend office, and have no knowledge of precautions to be taken care of during this time.

The world we are in right now is the safest place, we have a roof on top of our head, we have food, water, and also wifi which helps you in several ways. The government app helps us in detecting covid'19 patients around us. The zoom, google meet and different apps helped us to connect us to our classes, workplace, family, and the world. When Social media made us feel a little better and also helped others to find plasma donators and also helped in finding hospital beds. People can communicate to NGOs for help, through different apps we can attend courses for passing time a little faster.

In short, technology has eased the lives of everyone and we can never imagine our lives without it.

♡ When TECHNOLOGY met REAL LIFE ♡

♡ When technology met real life

Hello everyone!! First of all, I wish you a very HAPPY NEW YEAR! Last year was a roller-coaster ride for me I had ups and downs, this blog completed 1,000 views after 4 years.. I couldn't write this blog for a long time as I had no thought about any topic to write about. But when I saw my pageviews with 1,520 views, I thought to write a small blog with my perspective on the digital lifestyle.

I hope you all are enjoying this lockdown staying with your family and also reviving old memories after binge-watching. But a student's life is going through a phase when eyes get strained, there is a whole attraction towards social media keeping stories of classes going on, keeping the post of lockdown life, or even candid pics. India is going through a phase of a lot of mystery but let's not think in that direction because controversy is a thing that grows the most number of disputes in this world.

From olden times, it was called that the Internet is a global village. Even said that the world is shrinking. Yes, all this is really true. We can talk to our friends that used to be our old classmates, old besties or even enemies... But, the invasion of the internet has connected us and has got us addicted to it. My parents always tell me that there use to be one telephone in a whole house. How could we live then??

Even when technology came drama or plays that were held in a village lost their identity and people went to see movies then. Even I think tech helped us to introduce ourselves to VFX a technology we see everywhere we go. Even our superheroes Marvel and DC couldn't be alive without this tech. Technology makes everything such fun and worth watching. When I was in 2nd that is 7 years ago I saw for the first time an invitation card that had in it a device that had an audio clip of Gayatri Mantra and it was so fascinating for me. Even when I was in Sr. KG I and my dad made a clock that had a cut out of Ariel our Disney mermaid and I kept her below the dial and we fitted a cell in the clock. It was made up of cardboard.

Now we all can see clocks in a different manner everywhere. First, people used sundials then different ways of deciding time were created. And now, we wear clocks of a totally different manner many people wear the old clock but we can find a digital band on everyone's hand in cities. Technology made everything such efficient that even we can measure our heart rate, steps we walked, etc., and getting more and more accurate.

Even our mobile phones modernized, when our parents had telephones we have rollable phones and foldable phones.

At a time our parents used to buy cassettes for music and now we can hear them on any device. When they had cameras to click photos we have camera set-ups in mobiles and laptops too. When they used to read books paying for them we can e-pay for it and read that book online.

There is a phrase that is always used in any country we go its simple meaning is that humans are never happy with what they have, they always want more from what they have. In my opinion, that's the most wonderful thing as it helps us to make our brains work more to bring changes to our surroundings and revolutionize the things created.

Have you ever thought about who must have invented music that is connected to technology, the electric guitars or Casio that we use.

We even have jobs in this digital world like certain competitions for games and through this many people got to showcase their talents to the world. The competitions opened a new door to gamers all across the globe.

In the end, I just want to ask you something when you turn your head all towards the surrounding around you, you can have technology's smallest sample in your room itself where you are sitting.

TEMPORARY

Hi everyone! It has been more than a year since I wrote a blog, and many things changed in this one year. I missed writing blogs soo much an...
